Band Boosters
For ParentsThe Seabrook Intermediate Band Booster Club is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization and our purpose is to support the Seabrook Intermediate Band Program.
We will kick-off the new school year with a MEMBERSHIP DRIVE. Our goal this year is 100% MEMBERSHIP of parents of all children enrolled in the Seabrook Intermediate Band program. Membership dues are annual and your family need only join once a year regardless of the number of children currently enrolled in the SIS band. Our Band Booster Club gives you an opportunity to get involved with your children and to show them that you care about their musical interests. Club members are given opportunities to serve as chaperones for the trips, events, and contests throughout the year. We assist the band directors in planning and running various social activities such as lock-ins and pool parties. One of the most important contributions to our children's band experience is financial. Our annual dues and periodic fund-raisers provide the money to purchase Seabrook band equipment and provide for band activities not covered financially by the school district. Last year we purchased instruments, paid for clinicians and contest entry fees, helped fund other various events, and continued our support of the private lesson financial aid fund. |
How to joinYou can join the Band Booster Club by filling out the information on our membership form and returning it to a band directors.
The booster club meets five times per year and staffs a table selling t-shirts and sweatshirts at the 6th grade orientation at the beginning of every school year and sets up a booth at every band concert. We ask that anyone interested in volunteering for us, please fill out a CCISD volunteer application and the SIS Band Booster Form. Go Spartans! Please make all checks out to:
